BABES BOUTIQUE

Hey loves,

I know it's been a while since I was here and updated you guys on what's going on. Sometimes things can get unpredictable, and although it may not be what you wanted it may be exactly what was needed.

Anyway, I've been working on a couple of things in the past couple of months. One of them and the one I'm most excited about is my new baby. I want to introduce you all to Babes Boutique, my new love and part of the reason why I've been MIA. Those who know me well know it's always been a dream of mine to have my own store, a place where I can sell clothes, shoes and accessories that make women feel beautiful. I want for women of all ages to embrace their own unique style and have fun with it. Whether you like to dress up or down, if it makes you feel amazing, you wear it! So this is what I've been focusing on and I couldn't be more excited! Stay tuned and love you all!

Here's a simple and cute Spring outfit I put together when I was in Miami two weeks ago. The weather was too perfect so I decided to go with a cute nude dress and brown platform sandals, I literally want them in every color.

My Brow Essentials

Hey ladies!

Here's a quick view at my go to products to shape and fill in my eyebrows. I've been using these for a long time and I just can't see myself using anything else.

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark Brown- I use this to shape and define the top, bottom and edges.

2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brush 12

3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Medium Brown- I use this to fill in my brows using the ABH brush.

4. Elf Professional Concealer Brush

5. Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer- Using the Elf concealer brush I apply a little bit of this to clean up the brows and make them pop. I blend with the brush first then use my finger to gently eliminate any harsh lines.

6. MAC Eyeshadow in Nylon Frost- To finish off I apply this eyeshadow which I use as a highlighter with the elf brush over where I applied the concealer. This draws light to your eyes and brings a little bit of sparkle :)

Ways To Boost Your Mood And Feel Good

Heyy loves!

Now that Spring is here I thought it would be a good idea to talk about some of the things I do to feel good and boost my mood whenever it's needed. I figured, if it helps me maybe it'll help others out there as well. Plus we all know that with all the distractions and busy schedules we can sometimes get caught up. As a result we tend to become stressed, feeling depleted and exhausted at times.

Btw, I'm not an expert or a doctor, these are just some of the things that have helped me. :)

1. Get Moving- Get up and get your body going! It could be exercising, taking a walk, doing some yoga or just dancing to some music. It's crazy but I feel great when I've had an active day or just a workout session. It gives me the energy I need to do more.

2. Spend time in nature- Take a walk in a pretty park where there's a lot of trees and just sit and enjoy the scenery or go be near the ocean, go to a beach and put your feet in the sand, watch and listen to the waves or just get in the water. Doing this connect you to earth and revitalizes you in a deep way.

3. Drink Water- This is a hard one for many I believe, me included. I've literally gone two or three days without drinking a glass of water which is really bad. Our bodies are made up of about 75% water which is constantly being used up, therefore it's important to keep replenishing it every single day. So... I recently decided I was going to commit myself to up my water intake, so much so that I decided to download a little app called Water Check which sends notifications and reminds me when I should be drinking. And you know what? I've been making progress which makes me feel great!

4. Burn Candles- I don't know about you but I looooove candles. I really love to burn a delicious scent and have it fill up my entire home. And the nice relaxing vibe it gives off is also very pleasing to my senses.

5. Meditate- Take a few minutes alone and close your eyes, focusing on your breath, nothing else. Just be present and notice how you breathe in and out for as long as you're able to and watch how much better you feel afterwards. I especially love to do this in the shower. Every night I put my Calm Meditation Radio station on Pandora, light up a candle, dim the lights and hop in the shower. The last couple of minutes in there I spend meditating which leaves me feeling amazing and sets the tone for the rest of my night and beginning of the next day.

6. Play with an animal- Pets are really great mood lifters. They are a good distraction when you're feeling down and can quickly get your mind off your problems even if it's only for a little while.

7. Learn something new- Find something that interests you and learn about it. It doesn't have to be anything hard if you're not up for that, it could be something as small as learning a new word. I haven't done this in a while but from time to time I like to pick up the dictionary and just learn a word or a few. It can be fun, a little challenging and really fulfilling.

8. Be Thankful- Think of all the things in your life you're grateful for and acknowledge them. You can think it or even write them down. Doing this daily can really bring positive thoughts and give you the right mindset for a not perfect but happy life.

9. Travel- If you know me you know it's at the top of my fav things to do. I don't do it enough but when it does happen I'm truly happy. The world is so big and there's so much to see, so many different cultures, yummy foods to try and so much beauty everywhere. I believe this all helps enrich our minds and feed our souls.

Hope this was helpful in some way. Have an amazing rest of the week!

Sunny Days + A Good Pair Of Jeans

Hey babes!

This weekend was good, lots to do but good nonetheless. Since I moved (one of the big changes I mentioned in my previous post) about two months ago, I've been in the process of getting the house furnished and in order. I wish I could just wake up tomorrow and have everything I want and how I'd like it to look but we all know this takes time. And so far I'm very happy with the way it's all coming together, slowly but surely is my motto now a days. (:

Now onto my outfit! I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with a cute and stylish boutique called StyleMandCo. I'm wearing a pair of their super nice and comfy denim jeans which I'm in love with. Here I paired them with an off the shoulder top and strappy sandals to match this lovely spring weather that's going on down here in Florida BUT it can also be worn with heels or wedges for a more sophisticated look. So go on over to their site and check them out, they have really nice and affordable pieces.

Ava's 7th Birthday- Flamingo Party

Hey loves!

There's been a lot of changes and new things happening in my neck of the woods lately but I'll leave all that for another post. The most important thing is that I'm back and I'm better!

This past Sunday I celebrated Ava's 7th birthday with a flamingo themed pool party. I planned and decorated everything myself (which had me all over the place at times) but I had a vision in mind and knew exactly what I wanted so I just went for it. I gotta say I'm very happy with how everything turned out. It was such a great day and she had a blast with our family and friends...my heart is full.

tty all soon!

Bundled Up

Happy Monday loves!

It was a cold weekend here in Florida as you can tell by my attire. So I took out one of my favorite scarves and was thankful it finally felt like winter.

The mood called for grey and black paired with ripped blue jeans and my cute strappy ankle boots. An easy, cozy and comfy outfit for a day out.

Stay warm!
